There are more pics to come from our successful weekend in Dorset but for now here's one of our amazing drummer Katie at our gig in Christchurch. We packed the drums and cymbals onto the coach on Saturday morning, but forgot the box of stands and pedals for them - oops. Katie did a brilliant bit of improvisation with boxes, chairs and jumpers. We loved the use of the cowbell instead of hi hat and suspended cymbals which really don't work unless they are mounted on a stand! Fortunately we got the stands for Sunday in Dorchester. Brilliant job!

Great job Katie - the sign of a true pro! :-)

Well done Katie. Did anyone forget their uniform this year?

I once went up Snaefell on the Isle of Man Mountain Railway to do a gig at the top. When we got there, we discovered that all the cymbal stands had been left at the bottom. We did try having someone holding the hi-hats, opening and closing them when the drummer stamped on their foot but oddly, it wasn't all that successful... Good work Katie!

She’s a superstar. Well done again Katie!

She was fantastic!

She is amazing.

Star! 😇
