Well, after a busy few weeks for WCB, we’re finally ready to put the carol books away, put our feet up and tuck into some mince pies and mulled wine. With 10 performances between 29th November and 18th December, 6 of those in the last 6 days, we’re just about exhausted but we’re pretty confident that we’ve brought a lot of festive cheer to Woodley, Wokingham, Winnersh and the surrounding area.
As usual, our Christmas concerts at Bearwood Theatre proved extremely popular with over 500 people enjoying a wide variety of Christmas music with an arrangement of Baby it’s Cold Outside featuring a number of members of the band, spy thriller Secret Agent Santa and a very lively audience rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas too. The band enjoyed a very special year in 2014 as we celebrated our 40th birthday and are now looking forward to 2015 which we’re sure will be every bit as fun and enjoyable. We’d like to say thanks to all those that have supported us and enjoyed listening to the band and we’ll see you for more of the same next year!
