Huge apologies for any inconvenience caused.*** Woodley Concert Band’s first performance of 2015 is set to take you on a fantastic voyage of discovery across Europe with a musical journey on board the iconic Orient Express, all from the comfort of your theatre seat! A byword for luxury, you’ll be treated to sumptuous melodies, exquisite chords and toe-tapping rhythms as we explore the very finest in music from the countries of Europe and the glories of train travel.
With pieces set to include the elegant and sophisticated Blue Danube waltz, the beautiful and lyrical Shepherd’s Song from Songs from the Auvergne and also ever-popular musical Starlight Express, there should be something for everyone—the concert should prove a magnificent start to 2015!
