Like the Lord Harris Court Strawberry Fair, the Binfield Heath Flower Show always seems to be blessed with good weather and this year was no exception. Amongst the classic cars, ‘Onest Olly’s ‘Oopla and a magnificent selection of vegetables, Woodley Concert Band gave a fine performance to the show-goers. Pausing only for the children’s tug-of-war, WCB played its usual extensive range of popular and summery music, enjoyed by all ages (including a couple of young dancers in front of the band) and canine music-lovers, fresh from participating in the dog show.
With Binfield Heath over, there’s just one more concert left in our summer season for 2010 – catch us at Forbury Gardens in Reading on Sunday 12th September at 3:00pm.
