2012, Here we Come!
1st January 2012 -
Well goodness didn't 2011 go quickly! With over 21 performances and 9 major socials, it was certainly a busy year for WCB, including a weekend mini-tour to the Isle of Wight, a brilliant workshop with Andy Porter, the release of our first ever CD and the purchase of some shiny new stand banners to keep us looking smart when we're out and about. We've also sold out two of our Bearwood concerts and kept you up to date with two newsletters (for our Friends) and 55 news items on the website. We've uploaded over 350 photos to our gallery and a few videos too and we hope that you've enjoyed keeping up to date with all that we've been doing.
The good news is that 2012 is shaping up to be just as busy for the band - as well as the usual mix of concerts and socials, there'll hopefully be another weekend away visiting the bandstands of the UK and our first ever joint concert with Reading Male Voice Choir which promises to be a great event.
In the meantime, we'll be back practising this week, in preparation for  our Spring Concert and make sure you stay tuned for more WCB news!
