Well, we’re well into WCB’s summer season of events now and the band’s been as busy as ever with gigs in Forbury Gardens, Wokingham and at the Woodcote Rally. We’ve had glorious weather for all of these and enjoyed playing to very enthusiastic crowds who’ve been entertained by a very wide range of music, from The Great Escape to Grease and from Abba to the Posthorn Galop.
You can find pictures from some of our concerts in our gallery, here.
If you’ve not managed to sample the band’s summer repertoire yet this season, we’ll be giving it a final airing at the ever-popular Binfield Heath Flower Show on 23rd August. In the meantime, we’ll be at Henley on Thames this Sunday, 3rd August, to provide music for the service of commemoration to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War which we’re sure will be a moving and poignant occasion. We’re also starting to think about what we might perform for our fantastic 40th Anniversary Celebration Concert in October which promises to be a really exciting event.
We hope to see you out and about soon!
