Well, after our usual very busy summer, we’re now looking forward to our amazing Autumn Concert in October. Entitled ‘Best of British’, this spectacular evening of music is set to celebrate the very best in music from around the British Isles, including the likes of My Fair Lady, Vaughan-Williams’ popular Folk Song Suite and the theme music from Downton Abbey. As if all that wasn’t enough, the concert will be rounded off with a Proms-style finale including Rule, Britannia! and Land of Hope and Glory – the perfect antidote to the onset of darker evenings and chilly weather!
You can find further details about our Autumn Concert, taking place on Saturday 10th October at 7:30pm at Waingels College, Woodley here and the box office opens on 5th September for members of our Friends scheme or on 12th September for members of the public.
